A lovely skyscraper cocktail shaker by West Virginia Glass Co, 1930s. This "skyscraper" shaker (skyscraper due to it's 16" height) is simply gorgeous with its sleek design and chrome accents. The glass features wide frosted bands (that have a dimpled texture) with thinner silver bands throughout. Truly a stunning piece.

This listing is for ONE shaker, which is the West Virginia Skyscraper shaker. Hallmarks: None

Condition: Good vintage condition beyond mild age that comes purely from time. If this shaker was used, it wasn't much.

1) The glass clarity is perfectly clear

2) The chrome lid is in good shape overall beyond some minor general age that comes purely from time including some areas that are slightly more "dull" or not as vibrant as well as some surface wear

3) There's minor general age and minor surface wear that comes from past handling

4) The cap screws on tightly but doesn't screw all the way down, we presume this was a manufacturing occurrence

5) The cap still has its original cork interior

6) There's very, very minor wear to some of the silver accents (very minor)

In short, this vintage shaker is in good vintage condition with mild age. It displays beautifully.

We are happy to put our shaker through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular shaker.
