Publisher details: Quiet Drinking: A Book of Wine, Beer, & Cocktails And What To Serve Them With by Virginia Elliott Harcourt, Brace and Company, New York. First Edition, Third Printing, 1933
Condition: Remarkable vintage condition for a piece that's 90 years old. The binding is firm. The cloth hardcover is in excellent condition overall. The interior pages are in excellent shape (no tears). There's a small stain to the back cover's interior and last two pages (see picture #9) as well as a thin piece of paper with a cocktail written on it that says "Elaine's Dry Martini". This paper can likely be removed but we've chosen to leave it as part of the book's history/story (see photo #7). Overall, this mixology book is in very, very good vintage condition. Truly a magnificent vintage piece.
Book measures Approx 7 3/42" tall x a tad over 5" wide If you're a collector of vintage cocktail books, this rare copy would undoubtedly make a stunning addition to one's collection. Cheers!
