A magical 1939 "Wonder Bar" set. This spectacular cocktail pick set is made up of a wood "bar" with a chrome top and rail holds 6 picks (5 Bakelite bottles, and 1 metal cocktail shaker), and plastic "wheels". This set came in a few different variations including this one that features "wheels" and is painted a vibrant green. This particular version also came in a vibrant red. Truly a magical set. Cheers.

Hallmarks: "Patent No. 116459 Made In U.S.A. Negbaur N.Y." can be found on the back of the pick set
Condition: Good condition for a set that's 80+ years old. There's general age (that comes purely from time). We like to be thorough so here's a full summary:
1) This set does not come with the miniature cocktail recipes booklet
2) The chrome bar/rail shows noticeable age (the rail shows the most and is tarnished/shows wear to the chrome) -- see photos #5 and #7 for reference
3) The wheels are in great shape and wheel back and forth perfectly
4) The wood bar is in good shape overall but does show minor wear in a few very small spots right along the edge of the bar
5) The picks are in good shape overall but show age to some of the labels and also tarnish and wear to the chrome in a few areas on the picks portion -- see photo #3
Overall, this set is in good condition for 80+ years old but does show signs of age. If you're looking for NOS (new old stock), please check back with us as we get new vintage inventory in often. Cheers!
Measurements: Approx 5" wide and about 4 1/4" tall, including the bottles and shaker. Approx 1" wide.
