A stunning set of Cherry Bakelite picks in a stemmed Bakelite accented stand by P.H. Vogel & Co., circa 1940s. The Bakelite accented footed bowl can hold olives, etc and features a thick red Bakelite accented stem and holds 6 picks. The silver-plated stand also features thin etched lines along the base. The picks feature solid Bakelite "cherry" tops (6 picks total). Truly a gorgeous Art Deco design. Why not spear your martinis in style with these vintage Bakelite Cherry picks?? Maker/year: P.H. Vogel & Co., circa 1940s

Hallmarks: "PHV & Co" and "made in England" can be found on the underneath of the stand

Condition: Good vintage condition with obvious signs of age. The silver-plating of the stand has a good amount of patina that will not polish away or shine up. If you're looking for a set that is a pristine silver, this stand will not polish up to a vibrant silver. The patina adds to this set's magical factor. (We're "team patina" as its like a personal fingerprint on a vintage item that's taken years to create). The red Bakelite accent on the stand is in perfect condition. The picks are in very good condition. The Bakelite tips are pristine and show no sign of age, cracking, etc. The picks tips have a minimal amount of tarnish. In short, this antique Bakelite picks set is in very good condition and inline with a set that's 80 years old and the stemmed stand has a good amount of age and patina that will not polish up. Truly a gorgeous and rare set.

Measurements: The bowl/stand measures 3 1/2" tall with a diameter of 4 1/4". Each pick measures just shy of 3 1/4" in length Cheers!
