A lovely vintage cocktail book "Famous New Orleans Drinks And How To Mix "Em", 1944 (Sixth Printing). This book was first published in 1937. This mixology book showcases New Orleans drinks that have become known worldwide. This collection gives details on concocting exotic beverages such as Mississippi Planter's Punch, Pousse Cafe, Vieux Carre Cocktail, and Absinthe Anisette, to name a few. While this book is still printed today, this is a First Edition (1937) Truly a neat vintage cocktail book/booklet (please note: this is not a hardcover exterior, is is a firm paperback/booklet).

Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of age. We like to be thorough when it comes to vintage guides, so here's a complete summary:
1) The paper exterior is in very good shape for the age of the guide but does have a few small stains on the back (see photo) and also wear to the very corners of the exterior as well as minor wear to the bottom of the spine of the book (see all photos)
2) The pages are in good shape but have a "yellowing" that paper gets over the course of decades (see photos)
3) There are mild "stains" (not so much a stain as areas of the paper that have darkened on the side front interior and inside back interior (see photos #7 and #10)
4) A few of the first few pages have a tiny "fold" (purely how the book was stored over the years)
In short, this book is in good condition for its age but does show signs of age as listed above. Truly a magical mixology guide.
This book measures approx 7 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" wide (and a tad over 1/4" thick)
