A 1946 first edition Trader Vic's Book of Food & Drink (with original dust cover), autographed by Trader Vic in blue ink ("Aloha Trader Vic"). Trader Vic was a leader in the early tiki drink movement, which became popular when soldiers came home from the South Pacific after WWII. Cocktails herein, many of which are rum based, are given inspired names like Devil's Leap, La Florida daiquiri, shingle stain, rum julep, haote pikia, and dozens more. This hardcover does not have its original dust jacket.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with very mild signs of age. We like to be thorough when it comes to our vintage items, so here's a full summary:
1) There's wear to the edges of the dust jacket
2) The hardcover is in great shape overall with very mild signs of age (there's one small rubbed spot on the front top area)
3) The pages are in great shape and crisp but do have mild yellowing (this occurs to all paper over the course of decades)
4) The binding is very tight/secure
In short, this autographed/signed book is in very good vintage condition with very mild signs of age. Cheers.
