A 1947 first edition Bartender's Guide by Trader Vic, with its original dust cover. Truly a magnificent vintage mixology book that was made in several colors including a beige hard cover, a red hard cover, and this bold yellow hard cover. This vintage guide is filled with more than 1,500 cocktail recipes, illustrations, and how to choose the perfect glass for your handcrafted beverage.

Condition: The book itself is in excellent condition and appears to have never been used. The pages are in great shape (there's some very minimal "yellowing" that occurs to books over the course of decades), no creasing. Tight binding. The hardcover is clean. However, the dust cover is in poor condition (see photo for reference) and has large tears (mostly to the front). See photos for reference. The back hardcover has a tiny "crease" in it (likely due to the way the book was stored, it's not incredibly obvious but we're pretty Type A when it comes to mentioning an item's exact condition). Overall, excluding the dust cover, this first edition book is in good vintage condition for 70 years old. Truly a magical and rare mixology guide. Doubleday & Company Inc., Garden City, New York USA, 1947 Book measures 7 1/2 x 5 x 1 1/4 inches
