A scarce 1947 first edition Bartender's Guide by Trader Vic (with the original dust cover). This book was reprinted in 1948 and later years ( through the 70s). We rarely come across the original 1947 first edition. Truly a magnificent vintage mixology book that was made in several colors including a yellow hard cover, a red hard cover, and this beige hard cover. This vintage guide is filled with more than 1,500 cocktail recipes, illustrations, and how to choose the perfect glass for your handcrafted beverage.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The pages are clean and crisp. There's minor age inline with a book that's 70+ years old. And wear to the dust cover. We like to be thorough when it comes to the exact condition of our vintage items, so here's a full summary:

1) The dust cover shows wear and is torn in a few small areas along the edges.
2) There's mild yellowing to the interior pages (very minor, this occurs to paper of the course of decades)
3) There's very, very minor wear to a few of the corners of the exterior hardcover

The binding is extremely tight. In short, this book is in very good vintage condition with very mild signs of age. Truly a magical mixology guide.
