A rare 1947 first edition Bartender's Guide by Trader Vic (no dust cover). This book was reprinted in 1948 and later years ( through the 70s). We rarely come across the original 1947 first edition. Truly a magnificent vintage mixology book that was made in several colors including a yellow hard cover, a red hard cover, and this beige hard cover. This vintage guide is filled with more than 1,500 cocktail recipes, illustrations, and how to choose the perfect glass for your handcrafted beverage.
Condition: Very, very good to excellent vintage condition. Please note: there's no dust cover. The exterior is perfectly clean and the binding is very tight. The book appears unused. There's very, very minor "age" (that comes purely from time and not use) including some very mild yellowing that occurs to books over time to the front interior/inside of the book and some very mild yellowing/darkening to the top pages (see photo #9). In short, this book is in very, very good vintage condition.
