A vintage cocktail book "Famous New Orleans Drinks And How To Mix "Em", 1954 (Eleventh Printing). This book was first published in 1937. This mixology book showcases New Orleans drinks that have become known worldwide. This collection gives details on concocting exotic beverages such as Mississippi Planter's Punch, Pousse Cafe, Vieux Carre Cocktail, and Absinthe Anisette, to name a few. While this book is still printed today, this is a First Edition (1937) Truly a neat vintage cocktail book/booklet (please note: this is not a hardcover exterior, is is a firm paperback/booklet). This book also comes with a "Cook Book News" insert advertising a "History of Cookery" book. It was tucked away inside the cocktail booklet, so we'll leave it there. Cheers!
Publication Date: 1954, Stanley Clisby Arthur
Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of age. We like to be thorough when it comes to vintage guides, so here's a complete summary:
1) The paper exterior is in very good shape for the age of the guide but does have a few small but noticeable stains on the back (see photo)
2) This booklet has it's original bookstore stamped on the back (see photo)
In short, this book is in good condition for its age but does show signs of age as listed above. The binding is night and tight/firm. Truly a magical mixology guide.
