A lovely vintage Sterling Silver double jigger by Alvin Corporation (aka Alvin Manufacturing Co.). This jigger is the classic double jigger design with one end being slightly larger (as it holds more ounces than the smaller end). Early Mid Century. Truly a lovely bar measure.
A bit about this vintage manufacturer: Founded by Wm. H. Jamoneau in 1886 as Alvin Mfg Co. in Irvington, New Jersey. The firm changed to Alvin-Beiderhase Co (c. 1893).
In 1919 the name changed to Alvin Silver Co until 1928 when assets, dies and patterns were purchased by Gorham Corporation operating in Providence plant as a separated division of Gorham under the name of Alvin Corporation.
Measurements: Just shy of 4" tall and weighs 32 grams

Hallmarks: "Alvin Sterling S248" can be found in the interior of one of the jigger ends (see photo)
Condition: Good/Fair vintage condition with signs of age and tarnish. The only reason we're including "Fair" in the Conditions Summary is due to the tarnish and patina. We like to be thorough so here's a full summary:
1) This piece has general age (that comes purely from time) and general surface wear.

4) There's a shallow small ding on the larger end and a two very tiny smaller dings on the smaller end.
