Vintage sterling silver enameled figural "Stoplight" jigger by Alvin. This figural jigger is nothing short of magical. The enameled stoplight colors include green, yellow and red meant to signify "go," "caution," and "stop." Each light corresponds to the 1, 2 1/2, and 3 1/2 ounce markings on the jigger's bottom. Truly a cool are rare antique piece.

Measurements: Approx 2 1/2" tall x a tad over 2 1/4" in diameter Maker/year: Alvin, 1960s A bit about this manufacturer: The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was founded during the latter part of the 19th century. Their original headquarters in 1886 was located in New Jersey. Historical records reference multiple names for this manufacturer, including The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company, The Alvin Mfg Co., Alvin Silver Co., and The Alvin Corporation.

Hallmarks: "Alvin Sterling S275" can be found on the bottom of the jigger

Condition: Very good vintage condition with wear and patina. This jigger has a good about of patina, which adds to its magical factor (please note: we do NOT polish our pieces as some buyers are very particular about as is condition). The enamel is pristine (a rarity with this stoplight jigger) with zero flaws to any part of the enameled dots. Each color is vibrant. The jiggers itself is in very good condition, no dents or dings. The jigger's interior has discoloration that will likely not polish up (see photo for reference). In short, this jigger is in very good vintage condition and shows patina. Truly a gorgeous piece of vintage barware. Cheers!
