A fun set of "Poison" glasses by Anchor Hocking, 1970s. These magical glasses feature various "Poisons" in a bold enameled pattern. There are 5 lowball glasses in two different shapes (a tapered rocks glass and an "old-fashioned" glass that is not tapered). This set includes:

3 tapered rocks glasses that include: 2 Lead, 1 Lye
2 old-fashioned glasses that include: 1 Lye, Arsenic

There are 5 glasses total in this set

Maker/Era: Anchor Hocking, 1970s

Hallmarks: None

Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of age/wear. We like to be thorough so here's a full summary:

1) The 3 rocks glasses are in great shape; one of the orange "Lead" glasses shows a tiny mark to the enamel (see photo #8)
2) One of the orange Lead glasses has a very slightly "bump" of extra glass on the rim (completely common with how vintage/Mid Century glassware was made) -- extremely subtle but we like to be thorough
3) The 2 old-fashioned glasses show mild age including an ever so slightly less shiny enamel than the 3 rocks glasses and the purple Arsenic glass shows very mild wear to a few micro tiny spots on the enamel (likely from past handling)

In short, these vintage Poison glasses are in good shape overall but do show mild signs of age. Please note: vintage glassware often has tiny manufacturing occurrences such as a tiny bubble in the glass, an uneven section of enamel, or a tiny part of the enamel that didn't get fully filled in, etc. Purely the nature of vintage glassware. In short, these glasses are in very good vintage condition.

Measurements: The old-fashioned glasses measure just shy of 3 1/2" tall and the rocks glasses measure just a tad over 3 1/2" tall (so about 1/4" difference in height between the two different glassware shapes).

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage or damage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage/damage.
