A rare and stunning silver-plated Repousse cocktail shaker by Webster & Sons, early 1900s. No words can express how gorgeous the detailing of this shaker is, with it's heavily textured Dutch figural Repousse design. Heavy in weight, this Repousse shaker features a variety of Dutch figural scenes. Every detail about this shaker is spectacular, from the heavily embossed Repousse scenes (which we tried to capture in the photos) to the intricate detailing of the lid to the trim along the bottom of the shaker. The cap that fits in the spout has its original cork. The handle features an Art Deco design/shape. Truly a magnificent antique piece. This shaker is nothing short of magical.

Maker/year: Webster & Sons, early 1900s

Hallmarks: "W & S" (Webster & Sons) can be found the on the bottom of the shaker.

Measurements: Approx. 9 1/2" tall

Condition: Very good vintage condition for a piece that's 110 years old. We're pretty Type A about summarizing our pieces exact condition, so here's a summary:

- The chain that connected from the spout's cap to the body of the shaker is missing/no longer present
- The cork that's inside the spouts cap has quite a a bit of wear (and you have to "turn it a certain way" until it fits snugly inside the spout's opening
- There's mild tarnish (please note, we do not polish our pieces as some buyers are very particular about as is condition)

No dents or dings. In short, this antique jigger is in very good vintage condition with signs of age and wear but displays beautifully. Truly a breath-taking piece. Cheers!

**Please Note: we typically do not test our shakers for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage shakers (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our shaker through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular shaker. Cheers!

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.
