A lovely vintage flask that has a chrome-plated (over brass) exterior and a glass interior. Circa late 1930s. The exterior features a chrome-plated "cage" that has "diamond" cut outs over a glass interior. This flask is the traditional curved flask has a screw off cap. The cap features a ribbed detail at the top. Extremely heavy in weight, this flask is solid. Truly a fantastic piece.
Condition: Good vintage condition overall but with signs of age/wear. Here's a full summary:
1) The chrome shows general age and mild wear in a few places including one spot on the front bottom (see photo) and some small age spots on the screw on cap.
2) There's general "surface wear" in a number of places from time and past handling.
3) There's surface wear on the bottom exterior of this flask.
4) **Please note: the chrome exterior (that's over the glass) that was applied when the flask was created has a "seam" on one side (this is how the cage was ultimately put over the glass flask)....please see photo for reference.
5) There's a small ding on the front bottom corner and a series of shallow dings along the bottom exterior
In short, this antique flask is in good vintage condition overall but with noticeable signs of age. Truly a magical hip flask.
