A lovely pair of silver-plated "Claw" tongs with an Art Deco pattern, 1940s. These tongs feature claw tips that have a raised texture to them and an intricate Art Deco pattern on each handle with a smooth "box" that one can put their initials, if they desire to. Truly a setting pair of tongs.
Hallmarks: "Meriden Company" and 1847 Rogers Bros" can be found inside the tongs along with a company logo of a balancing scale
Measurements: Just shy of 6 3/4" in length
Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of age. The silver-plating is in great shape overall. Please note: we have not polished these tongs and there's mild tarnish (mostly around the claws/tips as well as the interior of the tongs). There's mild, general "surface wear" to the silver-plating. In short, these tongs are in good vintage condition with mild signs of age, mild tarnish, and minor surface wear; they display beautifully. Cheers!
