A lovely Art Deco silver-plated cocktail shaker, 1920s. The pictures don't do this mixer justice. It features a "stepped" or graduated design, tapered body, and a trio of etched lines on the upper portion of the Shaker and also on the cap. This mixer consists of 3 pieces: cap, lid, and the body of the shaker. Truly a lovely Art Deco mixer that has a magical feel to it.
*Please NOTE: this listing is for ONE single shaker. It came from a collection of three shakers (see last photo). If you're interested in the others, please see other listings. Again, this listing is only for one single shaker (see photos 1-19). Cheers!
Measurements: Approx. 8" tall (please note: this is not a large or over-sized shaker, it's smaller in size)
Hallmarks: "Lancelott Silver Plated Made in England" can be found on the bottom of the Shaker (see photo)
Condition: Good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear:
1) There's minor/general "age" to the silver-plating in a few places including the top of the cap that comes purely from time
2) There's what we refer to as general surface wear that can include micro fine scrapes and scuffs (from past handling, how it might have been stored, etc)
3) The interior is perfectly clean
In short, this shaker is in good vintage condition overall but does show some mild age, surface wear, and tarnish. Cheers!
**Please Note: we typically do not test our shakers for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage shakers (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our shaker through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular shaker. Cheers!
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces well to ensure safe delivery. If you buy multiple pieces/sets, we will combine shipping if possible (glassware sets typically ship in their own box to ensure safe arrival) and will reimburse you for any shipping overages. Please note: this shaker weighs over 2 lbs and will weigh well over 3 lbs once securely packaged. Cheers.
****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage or damage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage/damage.
