A lovely vintage silver-plated flask by P.S. Co. (Preisner) with a stunning Art Deco etched design in the front corners, still in its original box. Please NOTE: this flask is monogrammed with a "P" on the front (see photos). We had a tough time capturing photos due to the vibrancy of the flask's plating. We took photos in two different lighting settings (please excuse or wood ceiling beams that show up on the flask's reflection). This large flask is silver-plated and features a "swing arm" that attaches the cap to the flask. The cap still has its original cork. Circa 1930s. Heavier in weight, this flask has a solid feel to it. We took photos in two different lighting settings to try and capture the detailing. Truly a lovely antique flask.

*Please note: once again, please note this flask bears a "P" monogram. We mention this twice as we like to be thorough.

A bit about this manufacturer: Three brothers, Ben, John, and Frank Preisner, founded the company in 1935, before World War II. or almost a century, the Preisner Pewter Company has been synonymous with quality pewter and sterling silver trophies, giftware, and luxury goods. Over the years, Preisner workmanship has been requested by companies famous for their quality such as Tiffany’s, Ralph Lauren, and Cartier. In the early 2000’s, the Preisner brothers retired from the silver business, and sold the Preisner Pewter Company to the Oldani Family. The apprentices that they taught, now masters, remain with the company and continue to produce the Preisners’ famous line of pewter and sterling silver. Today, the Preisner Pewter Company continues to manufacture pewter and sterling silver at its location in Meriden, CT under the name and management of Peter and Steven Oldani.

Condition: Great vintage condition. This flask appears to be NOS (new old stock). There's general "age" that comes purely from time or past handling (i.e. mild tarnish and tarnish spots -- we have not polished this piece). But overall, this flask is in excellent condition. The box shows age and a few dark stains (see photos). In short, this flask is in great vintage condition.

**Please NOTE: we typically do not test our flasks for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage flasks (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our flasks through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular flask. Cheers!

Hallmarks: The inside of the swing arm is embossed with: "P.S Co. 2401 13 oz" (P.S. Co. or Presiner Silver Company) / the box bears the jewelry company it was purchased from: "The Van Heusen Charles Company Albany, New York"

Measurements: Approx. 8" tall x 4 1/4" wide

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. Please note: we're not making a penny on shipping. This flask is heavier in weight and we pack our pieces well to ensure safe arrival. If purchasing multiple pieces, we'll combine shipping to a single box (or as few boxes as possible) and will automatically reimburse you for all shipping overages paid.

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage or damage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage/damage. Cheers!
