A stunning Art Deco Sterling Silver & Stag cocktail tools set, in the original box. This set is simply breath-taking and includes 3 Sterling/Stag Sterling and Chrome tools that include a double jigger, a cork opener, and a bottle opener. All pieces are hallmarked "Sterling". The tools are pristine, beyond tarnish. This set comes in the original wooden box that has a tan cloth interior and green velvet bottom. Tbox shows age/wear (see Conditions Summary Below). While this set is not by John Hasselbring, it is very similar craftsmanship. Extremely heavy in weight, all pieces are solid and well-crafted. Circa 1930s. Summary of the 3 tools:
1) The double jigger features a double Sterling jigger and Sterling finial
2) The bottle opener features a Chrome opener portion and Sterling finial
3) The wine opener features a Chrome cork section/portion and Sterling finial
Hallmarks: "Sterling" can be found on each piece and the cork opener also has "40" and "H.C" in addition to the hallmark "Sterling"
Condition: The tools are in great shape (they appear to have never been used); however the box shows age and damage (likely how it was stored in the past). We're listing the tools as "great condition" and the box in "poor" condition due to damage to the wood in several areas on the back (around the part that hinges) - see photos #6, #7, and #8. In short, beyond tarnish and what we refer to as "general age" that comes purely from time, the Sterling/Stag tools are in great shape and the box is in "fair/poor" condition (due to the damage to the back of the wood box).
