A lovely Mid Century Cocktail Pitcher Set by Sinclair. The pattern is very "Op Art" (optical art is a form of abstract art that gives the illusion of movement by the precise use of pattern and color, or in which conflicting patterns emerge and overlap) in style and features vibrant red and black "swirls" with gold accents and vibrant red bands at the bottom of each piece. The photos don't do the pattern justice. The pitcher is extremely heavy in weight and spouted, for pouring your favorite liquid libations. The footed glasses have vibrant gold rims. This Mid Century set would be a perfect addition for styling a retro bar cart.
This 6 piece set includes: 1 pitcher, 1 glass stirring wand, and 4 footed glasses.
Maker/era: Sinclair Glass Co. / Mid Century
Hallmarks: None
Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of wear/age. This set has been in a cabinet for decades and doesn't appear to have seen any actual use. There's general "age" that comes purely from time including on some areas of the wide red bands at the bottom of each piece. There's a tiny bit of extra glass right around where the top handle connects to the glass (purely a manufacturing occurrence). Overall this set is in good condition and displays beautifully!
Mid Century glassware disclaimer: Please note, vintage glassware often had various manufacturing occurrences, such as a "seam" that can be seen when the glass was created, an extra dot of enamel or gold that made it to the clear glass, micro tiny bubbles trapped in the glass, etc. This set is no exception and has general manufacturing occurrences. Cheers!
Measurements: The pitcher is approx 8 1/2" tall; the footed glasses measure 3" tall; the glass stirring wand measures 9 3/4" in length.
