A vintage set of six (6) silver-plated Cherry Bakelite picks in their original case. The Cherry Bakelite finials are a vibrant, bold red and the silver-plated picks feature pointed tips. They come in their original box that has a brass button clasp and features a brown "Tortoise" exterior. The picks have a magical feel to them.

Hallmarks: "W & H" can be found on each pick along with 3 very small hallmark symbols Maker: Walker & Hall

A bit about this vintage manufacturer: Walker & Hall began making silver and silver-plated pieces in 1845 throughout the early 1900s and became a subsidiary of Mappin & Webb in 1971. Walker & Hall was known for making fine silverwares pieces in both sterling silver and silver-plated.

Condition: Fair vintage condition. The reason we're listing this set as "fair" is due to the poor condition of the case. As you can see, the interior silk lining has (we assume) experienced water damage in the past and is very, very discolored. Please see all photos. It's very noticeable. The case also has a scrape on the bottom exterior. The picks themselves are in very good vintage condition overall. There's some minor tarnish the buyer can polish away, if they choose to. The finials are in great shape, no crazing or cracks. All picks are straight. The silver-plating is completely in tact. In short, the picks are in good condition but the case is in poor condition, so we're listing this set as "fair" condition, due to the poor condition of the case. Cheers!

Measurements: The case measures approx. 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"; each pick measures approx 3 1/4" in length
