A stunning "Cherry Tree" cocktail picks set, Mid Century, still in its original box. This magical set features vibrant red cherry picks that hang in a gold-plated "tree". The gold tree mimics a real tree a tree bark texture. This set includes 12 picks (and 12 holes for each pick to hang). Truly a lovely set.
Maker/era: Jameco Prod. Co. (Jameco Product Company); Mid Century
Hallmarks: "Jameco Prod. Co." can be found embossed on the underside of the stand and the box is hallmarked "Gold Tone Products" with gold ( &) symbols.
Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age/wear. Overall, this set is in good condition but does show signs of age inline with a set that's 70+ years old. We like to be thorough when it comes to our vintage items, so here's a full summary:
1) The top of the stand (tree area) is pristine
2) The round part of the stand (the tree is attached to) is mildly tarnished and has quite a bit of noticeable wear to the gold along the bottom exterior edge (see photo #5)
3) The picks are in good shape overall but do show tarnish
4) The cherry finials are in good shape (no cracks or crazing)
5) The box shows minor signs of age mostly around the edges/corners and someone has written the numbers 4/27 (a date perhaps) in black sharpie on the top of the box
In short, this set is in good vintage condition overall but does show noticeable signs of age/wear. It displays beautifully. Cheers!
