A lovely Dow Jones ice bucket by Cera, Mid Century. Such a gorgeous pattern with heavy enamel and gold embossing of the stock market industrial average (from 1958-1968) in 22k gold, black, and white. Similar to Culver and other MCM glassware manufacturers, Cera used used a heavily textured embossing method with real 22k gold in the pattern.

A bit about this glassware manufacturer: Cera Glass was made in Hackensack, NJ, USA, in the 1950s & 60s. They created elegant cocktail glasses, barware and other specialty pieces, which were sold in high end department stores of the era. Anthony Velonis, who was already a famous WPA silkscreener and artist, started the Cera Glass Company which pioneered methods of silkscreen printing on glass. Similar to other Mid Century glassware makers, his designs were trimmed in 22K gold.
Measurements: 5" tall x 5 3/4" in diameter
Condition: Good vintage condition overall with minor signs of age. The gold is extremely vibrant and in great shape overall. The enameled pattern is in great shape. There's some very minor age and one extra spot of gold to the top gold band/trim. Here's a summary:
1) The top gold band has a bit of extra gold in one spot (see photo #15, where our thumb is)
2) The Glass clarity is good overall but there are a few very subtle "foggy" spots to the glass on the inside interior; they were impossible to capture in a photo so we're noting it here in the summary
3) There's some very minor, general surface wear on the bottom of the ice bucket
In short, this ice bucket is in good vintage condition with mild age outlined above. It displays beautifully.
Please note: Mid Century glassware often has imperfections (i.e. tiny bubbles in the glass, or a "seam" from when the glass was being created, an extra spot of gold or enamel that made it on a clear part of the glass, a small "wrinkle" in the glass, etc -- purely the nature of vintage glassware).
