A lovely Cera "World Atlas Map" cocktail set, which includes a martini pitcher and 4 smaller rocks glasses. Such a magical pattern with its heavy embossing of old world atlas maps outlined in 22k gold. Similar to Culver and other MCM glassware manufacturers, Cera used used a heavily textured embossing method with real 22k gold in the pattern. If you're not up on your geography, this set will get you there! Why not sip your drinks out of these stunning rocks glasses?!

Maker/pattern: Cera, World Atlas Maps

A quick summary on this glassware manufacturer: Cera Glass was made in Hackensack, NJ, USA, in the 1950s & 60s. They created elegant cocktail glasses, barware and other specialty pieces, which were sold in high end department stores of the era. Anthony Velonis, who was already a famous WPA silkscreener and artist, started the Cera Glass Company which pioneered methods of silkscreen printing on glass. Similar to other Mid Century glassware makers, his designs were trimmed in 22K gold.

Hallmarks: All pieces are are signed "Cera" (one glass/signature is faded ever so slightly)

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. Two of the four glasses show very, very mild/general wear. And the pitcher has a tiny scratch in the lower gold band (that may have occurred during manufacturing). The glass clarity is perfectly clear, no cloudiness. No chips or nicks. The pattern/gold is vibrant. Truly a lovely set.

Measurements: The pitcher measures 7 3/4" tall x 3" in diameter; the rocks glasses (which are smaller in size, so not a larger "double rocks glass" size) measure 3 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter

We're also selling a set of 6 tall tumblers in this pattern, if you're interested in a larger set. See other listings!

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.
