A lovely set of 6 "Poison" coasters by Cera. Mid Century. These coasters feature a smooth laminated front and a cork backing. Similar to Cera's Poison glasses, the pattern is gold and a beige color with dark dark brown accents. The poisons include : Hemlock, Cyanide, Belladonna, Arsenic, Curare, and Strychnine. Truly a magical and scarce set.

Please note: while the colors are the same as the Cera glasses, the actual colors will vary from the glasses due to being a different material, etc. These are more of a "beige" vs the glasses having more of an "ivory" color. Cheers.

We also have a set of the Cera Poison glasses. Please see other listings.

A quick summary about this glassware maker: similar to Culver, Cera used real 22k gold in many of their glassware patterns and were known for creating some of the most popular Mid Century glassware designs. Cera remains one of the most popular vintage brands for MCM glassware excellence and their Poison glassware remains one of their most popular patterns today.

Maker/era: Cera, Mid Century

Hallmarks: None. These coasters do not bare the Cera signature.

Measurements: Each coaster measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"

Condition: Very, very good vintage condition. There's some minor surface wear (from past handling, how they might have been stored, etc) but they don't appear to have seen any actual use. The laminate is in great shape and the cork backings are also in great shape. Truly a magical set.

As mentioned above please note: Mid Century glassware often has imperfections (i.e. tiny bubbles in the glass, or a "seam" from when the glass was being created, an extra spot of gold or enamel that made it on a clear part of the glass, etc -- purely the nature of vintage glassware).

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. These glasses will be double-boxed, which means a larger, heavier box.

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage.
