A rare set of 6 "Poison" glasses (and their original 6 glass stirrer sticks/muddlers) by Cera. Mid Century. These glasses were sold exclusively at Neiman Marcus during the Mid Century. Such a magical pattern with a gorgeous 22k gold and Ivory pattern of various poisons including: Styrchnine, Curare, Hemlock, Cyanide, Belladonna, and Arsenic. These glasses are larger in size for rocks glasses and have a flared upper and lower design (tapering in the middle slightly). Extremely heavy in weight, these glasses are solid. In addition to the various poisons, each glass has "ounces" on one side and ML (milliliter) on the other. The glass stirrers have flat "muddler" tips. Truly a magical set of Mid Century glasses.

A quick summary about this glassware maker: similar to Culver, Cera used real 22k gold in many of their glassware patterns and were known for creating some of the most popular Mid Century glassware designs. Cera remains one of the most popular vintage brands for MCM glassware excellence.

Maker/era: Cera, Mid Century

Hallmarks: All glasses are signed "Cera"

Measurements: each glass measures 4" tall x 4" in diameter; the glass stirrers/muddlers measure 6" in length

Condition of the glassware: Excellent condition. These glasses were never used, not once. They've been in a display cabinet for decades. The pattern is vibrant and the glass clarity is clear (no cloudiness). Please note: Mid Century glassware often has things that occurred during manufacturing (i.e. a small area of the pattern's enamel or gold not getting filled in, a tiny bubble in the glass, etc) -- this is completely common with Mid Century glassware and isn't from wear, but purely from when the glasses were manufactured. In short, these glasses are in excellent condition and have been stored away for years. Cheers!

Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage.

We WILL be able to confirm with 100% certainty that we shipped ALL pieces in your order as we photograph/document ALL PIECES in the box it ships in along with the buyer’s order receipt, shipping label, and tracking number (in case we need to verify that all pieces were shipped once the package has been received).
