A stunning, scarce set of five Culver "Aqua Tiffany" roly poly glasses. Culver made several "Tiffany" patterns (including one that featured a black and gold "mesh" texture). This Tiffany pattern features a vibrant pattern of a gold mesh texture and deep Turquoise blue. These are earlier Culver, late 1940s/early 1950s. The texture is simply stunning.Truly a breath-taking set.
This set includes 5 roly poly glasses
Maker/year: Culver "Aqua Tiffany", late 1940s (based on the signature which is a specific cursive font, see photo for reference).
A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. The Tiffany pattern is one of Culver's harder to find patterns and is the essence of vintage gold-embossed glassware.
Hallmarks: All glasses and shot glasses are signed "Culver" in gold cursive
Measurements: 3" tall x 3" in diameter
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Beyond minor age that comes purely from time, these glasses are in very good condition. The gold is vibrant and the blue is in good shape. The glass clarity is perfectly clear, no cloudiness. Truly a stunning set.
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. Please note: we don't make a penny on shipping. We often double-box our glassware sets, which means a larger, heavier box, to ensure safe delivery.

Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage.
