Culver Cocktail Set, Culver "Royal Diamond" Pattern

A breath-taking martini/cocktail set by Culver, late 1960s. This pattern is called "Royal Diamond" and features a deep maroon/purple enamel with a vibrant gold trim. The "diamonds" are surrounded with an Art Deco-esque gold trim. The pictures don't do this set justice. Some of the gold trim is "raised" giving it a 3-D like texture. No words can express how stunning this set truly is.

A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. MCM Culver glassware is the essence of Hollywood Regency and vintage glam.

This set includes 5 pieces: 1 pitcher and 4 small rocks glasses

Measurements: The pitcher measures a tad over 10 1/2" tall; the rocks glasses measure 2 3/4" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter (please note these are smaller rocks glasses, not the over-sized double rocks glasses)

Hallmarks: The pitcher is signed "Culver Ltd" in 22k gold; the glasses are not signed

Condition: Good vintage condition overall with mild signs of age. The glass clarity is perfect (no cloudiness). The maroon/purple enamel is rich in color overall. There's "age" that tends to happen to enamel over time that can be seen on the pitcher's maroon accents when looking at it extremely close up. All gold is very vibrant. There's very mild general "age" that comes purely from time. Overall, this set is in good vintage condition and displays beautifully. Cheers!

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces well to ensure safe delivery. Please note: we are not making a penny on shipping. We pack our items securely to ensure safe arrival ( (especially our glassware, which means a larger, heavier box).

>> We've recently added a cheaper shipping option (USPS Parcel Select Ground) as we know shipping costs have increased quite a bit! Please note that the Ground shipping will take up to twice as long to arrive (5-8 business days) than Priority Mail (2-5 business days). If you need your order quickly, please select Priority. Cheers!

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage..
