A lovely martini/cocktail pitcher set by Culver. This pattern is called "Festival" and is simply stunning. It features a deep chocolate brown pattern of wheat" stalks with the most stunning vibrant gold accents. It has an Art Deco-esque feel to it with the thin gold "stings" that connect the upper and lower parts of the pattern on the pitcher. This set includes one double-spouted martini pitcher and five small roly poly glasses. We took photos in two different lighting settings (please note: the "white" you see in the roly poly glasses is from our white wood ceiling beams/reflection). Truly a stunning set.

A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. MCM Culver glassware is the essence of Hollywood Regency and vintage glam.

This set includes 1 pitcher and 5 small roly poly glasses

Measurements: The pitcher measures 9 1/4" tall; the roly poly glasses are 2 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter -- please note these are very small roly poly glasses. If you're trying to match an existing set, please note Culver made smaller roly poly glasses and quite larger roly poly glasses. Please make certain these are the size you're looking for. Cheers.

Hallmarks: All pieces are signed "Culver" in gold cursive

Condition: Good vintage condition overall with mild sighs of age as well as a few manufacturing occurrences. We like to be thorough, so here's a full summary:

1) There's mild wear/gold loss in a few places on the pitcher and a few very very small places on the glasses
2) There's a tiny "bubble" trapped in the glass that can be seen in between the gold "strings" on the pitcher (completely common with Mid Century glassware)
3) There's some general "age" to the gold trim on the pitcher in a few places
4) There's some what we refer to as "surface wear" to the glass on the upper part of the pitcher and one scrape (that runs vertically) that was impossible to capture in a photo so we're mentioning it here.

In short, this set is in good vintage condition overall but does show mild signs of age, very mild gold loss in a few spots, and some general surface wear. It displays beautifully. Cheers.

Please note: Mid Century glassware often has imperfections (i.e. tiny bubbles in the glass, or a "seam" from when the glass was being created, an extra spot of gold or enamel that made it on a clear part of the glass, etc -- purely the nature of vintage glassware).

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. Please note: we're not making a penny on shipping. We pack our glassware well (which means a larger, heavier box) to ensure safe arrival.

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage..
