A breath-taking cocktail set by Culver. This pattern is called "Fleur De Lis" and is simply stunning. It features a Citrine yellow with a gold Fleur De Lis pattern that has a lined, raised texture to it. This set comes with 1 ice bucket and 5 old-fashioned glasses. All pieces are heavier in weight. Truly a stunning set.
We're also selling a martini pitcher set in this same pattern, if you'd like a larger set. See other listings.
A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. MCM Culver glassware is the essence of Hollywood Regency and vintage glam!
Measurements: The ice bucket measures 4 3/4" tall; the rocks/old-fashioned glasses measure 3 1/4" tall x 3 1/4" in diameter
Hallmarks: All pieces are signed "Culver Ltd" in gold cursive font
Condition: Very, very good vintage condition. The pattern is vibrant. the gold is vibrant The glass is clear (no cloudiness). Please note: a subtle "seam" cam be found on the ice bucket (purely the nature of Mid Century glassware and how the patterns were applied). It's very subtle but we like to be thorough. Also, there' an extra dog of gold on a tiny area of the yellow pattern (again, common with Mid Century glassware). In short, this set is in very good vintage condition. Truly a breath-taking set that displays beautifully.
General vintage glassware disclaimer: Mid Century glassware often has imperfections (i.e. tiny bubbles in the glass, or a "seam" from when the glass was being created, an extra spot of gold or enamel that made it on a clear part of the glass, etc -- purely the nature of vintage glassware). Cheers!
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.
