A breath-taking glass ice bucket by Culver, Mid Century. This pattern is called "Fleur De Lis" and is simply stunning. It features a Citrine yellow with a gold Fleur De Lis pattern that has a lined, raised texture to it. Heavier in weight, this ice bowl is well-crafted and displays beautifully.
A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. Condition: Excellent condition. The pattern is vibrant. The glass is clear (no cloudiness). Beyond minor age that comes from time and manufacturing occurrences (i.e. an extra spot of gold, a bubble wrapped in the glass, etc) this ice bucket is in great shape. Truly a breath-taking set that displays beautifully.
