A breath-taking set of 7 Culver "Charm Bracelet" rocks glasses. Such a magical pattern. These glasses feature a vibrant gold pattern of a butterfly, ballerina, a turtle, and various medallions -- each with a "jewel" or a faux white "pearl" inside. The backing of the pattern (when looking inside the glass) is Turquoise blue. Truly a breath-taking and rare set.
Culver was famous for their stunning decorative glassware in 22-karat gold – think lavish and opulent cocktailware of the 1950s and 60s. In the late 1950’s, Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. Culver stopped producing its gold overlay pieces in the 1980s.

Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of wear. We're pretty Type A about the exact condition of our glassware, so here's a glass by glass summary:
Glass 1: Minor but visible wear/gold loss in a few places (see photo #6 and all other photos for reference)
Glass 2: Minor but visible wear/gold loss in a few places. There's a "wrinkle" in this glass (completely common when it comes to Mid Century glassware) that resembles a scratch but it's a wrinkle that occurred during the creation of the glass (it runs horizontally and was impossible to capture in a photo)
Glass 3: Minor but visible wear/gold loss in a few places. Missing one red jewel (see photo #2, the glass in the front/left) and also has a tiny nick just below the rim of the glass about the size of a pinhead (see photo #6 where our finger is pointing)
Glasses 5 - 7: Minor but visible wear/gold loss in a few places
Please note: Mid Century glassware will have common imperfections such as extra glue residue around/near the jewels, tiny flaws within the glass such a micro tiny air bubbles, etc. All common occurrences for 1950s and 60s glassware.
In short, this set of glasses is in very good vintage condition with mild age/wear. Truly a stunning set that displays beautifully.
