A beautiful set of five (5) Mid Century jeweled "Christmas Tree" glasses by Culver. Such a stunning set. The pattern features a vibrant gold Christmas tree adorned with Christmas "ornaments" (jewels). Truly a breath-taking pattern that is the essence of Mid Century glassware for the holidays.
A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. The jeweled Ornaments pattern is one of Culver's harder to find patterns and is truly the essence of Culver glassware.

Measurements: Each glass measures 5 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter
Condition: Good vintage condition overall with mild signs of age. We like to be thorough, so here's a full summary:
- One glass has some opaque glue residue near a jewel (completely common with all of Culver's jeweled glassware), it's on the right side of an orange jewel
- One glass has some very mild gold loss at the tree's base
- Three of the glasses have some very minor loss on the edges of the tree branches
The above might sound nit picky, but we like to be thorough when it comes to our vintage glassware. In short, these glasses are in good vintage condition but do show signs of age/mild gold loss. Great glass clarity. All jewels are present. The gold is vibrant. Truly a lovely set.
Please note on vintage glassware in general: Mid Century glassware can have tiny bubbles, glue residue near the jewels, a jewel that's ever so slightly not perfectly centered, a tiny extra spot of gold or a tiny spot where the gold didn't get fully applied/filled in and other natural imperfections -- purely the nature of Mid Century glassware.
