A lovely set of 4 Culver jeweled glasses/tumblers, early Mid Century. This scarce pattern is similar to Culver's "Charm Bracelet" pattern but instead of ballerinas or pearls it consists of jeweled butterflies, song birds, and flowers. Truly a breath-taking and uncommon set.
We have another set of 4 in this pattern, if you'd like a larger set. Please see other listings!
A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. Culver's jeweled patterns remain their most popular patterns to this day.
Maker/era: Culver Ltd., Mid Century
Hallmarks: All glasses are signed "Culver Ltd" (Culver Limited)
Measurements: 5 1/2" tall x 3" in diameter
Condition: Pristine. These glasses don't appear to have been used. Two of the lower leaves on one glass didn't get embossed with gold as heavily, not uncommon with Mid Century glassware. Please also note some of the jewels are not perfectly centered and/or might have subtle glue residue around/near the jewels. Purely the nature of this pattern and all Culver jeweled patterns. Truly a stunning set.
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap our sets/pieces to ensure safe delivery. These glasses will be double-boxed to ensure safe arrival.
****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage. Cheers!
