In the late 1950’s, Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. Culver stopped producing its gold overlay pieces in the 1980s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHallmarks: The Culver signature can be found on all glasses in gold cursive font\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMeasurements: Each glass is approx 3 1\/2\" tall  x 3 1\/4\" in diameter \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition: Very, very good vintage condition with very mild signs of wear. The gold is extremely vibrant. The glass clarity is perfectly clear. One glass has a subtle opaque spot of adhesive residue near the top rim (just under the top Gold band) from when the gold pattern was applied to the glass, it's very small (1\/16 of an inch).
