A stunning set of 6 Mid Century Culver "Olivine Scroll" tumblers. The "Olivine" refers to the green olive color (this pattern also came in an "Azure" (blue) color as well as an orange color). The pattern is gorgeous with a matte green oblong vertical pattern surrounded by vibrant gold scrolls. Truly a breath-taking set. Why not sip your cocktails/drinks from these stunning Mid Century tumblers?!

A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver was famous for their stunning decorative glassware in 22-karat gold – think lavish and opulent cocktailware of the 1950s and 60s. In the late 1950’s, Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. The Olivine Scroll pattern is the true essence of Hollywood Regency and vintage glam!

Maker/Pattern/Era: Culver, Olivine Scroll, Mid Century

Hallmarks: Only one (1) of the six (6) glasses bare the Culver signature. The other 5 glasses do not bare the signature.

Measurements: 5 1/2" tall by 2 3/4" in diameter

Condition: Very, very good vintage condition. The matte green enamel (which is "matte" or non-shiny in texture) is a lovely pastel olive green tone and the gold is extremely vibrant and shiny. There is very, very minimal gold loss (and we mean minimal). The glass clarity is perfect (no cloudiness). This set is stunning and displays beautifully.
