A stunning set of Mid Century shot glasses by Culver, the Pisa Pattern. Truly a breath-taking set. This pattern features Culver's signature 22k gold applied with a crackle effect on a green-hued background and oval cutouts.

A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver was famous for their stunning decorative glassware in 22-karat gold – think lavish and opulent cocktailware of the 1950s and 60s. In the late 1950’s, Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. The Pisa pattern is the essence of Hollywood Regency and glam!

Era/pattern: 1960s, Culver "Pisa" pattern Hallmarks: These shot glasses do not bare the Culver logo (Culver often did not put their logo on certain items/patterns).

Measurements: Each shot glass measures 2 1/4" tall x 1 3/4" in diameter

Condition: Very, very good condition overall. The shot glasses are in great shape, no chips or nicks, the gold is extremely vibrant. Please note: the Pisa pattern has an intentional "crackle" texture to it (so one can see the green interior through the gold embossing). The gold metal caddy is in good shape overall with some mild signs of wear and tarnish and age.
