A stunning early 1900s flask. This flask has a silver-plated ornate encasing over a heavy glass flask. The pictures don't do this piece justice. Extremely heavy in weight, this silver-plated and glass glask has a screw-on cap that has its original cork inside. The scrolled overlay detailing is simply stunning; we tried to capture it by zooming in. This flask has a magical feel to it. Truly a breath-taking antique piece.

Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age/wear inline with a piece that's over 100 years old. There's patina (which is part of this piece's magical factor) -- please note, it will likely not poilsh up to a vibrant silver. Here's a full summary:

1) The silver-plated encasing is in good shape overall but you can see the "seams" (which was how it was applied over the glass flask) and one seam has a small "gap" in it (see photo #8) -- this does not affect the overlay, it is completely "secure" and does not move from the glass flask
2) There's a ding on the bottom corner of the flask (see photo #8) and two micro shallow/small dings on the very bottom edge of the flask -- see photo #6
3) As mentioned above, the silver-plating is in good shape overall but does show signs of general age and will likely not polish up to a perfectly bright silver tone

In short, this piece is in good vintage condition and inline with a silver-plated flask that's over 100 years old. Truly a stunning antique piece.

**Please Note: we typically do not test our flasks for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage flasks (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our flasks through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular flask. Cheers!
