A lovely Martini set by Fred Press, "Blenko" pattern, Mid Century. This stunning pattern (which also came in a yellow/blue color) features stylized decanters bottles in pink and blue with gold accents. This set is simply breath-taking and displays beautifully.

This set includes 7 pieces: 1 pitcher, 1 glass stirring Wand, and 5 small rocks glasses.

A quick summary on this glassware maker: Mid-Century designer Fred Press was known for creating  unique and stunning cocktail glassware (sold at places like New York’s Fifth Avenue and other upscale Mid Century retailers).  Real 22k gold was used in the paint.  Best known for his Gold Starburst series, his patterns are unmistakable including this gold leaf geometric pattern.

Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of age. Perfect glass clarity (no cloudiness) and no chips or nicks. Here's a full Conditions Summary:

1) The pattern is in good shape overall and the pink and blue are very vibrant, as is the gold trim
2) The blue and pink enamel does show minor "age" that comes purely from time (this is fairly common with MCM enamel) and some areas seem "foggy"
3) There are a few spots of blue and pink enamel that didn't get fully filled in during manufacturing (also common with MCM glassware)
4) The gold is vibrant overall but there are a few areas of gold loss (very minor)

In short, these glasses are in good condition overall but do show mild age, Truly a breath-taking set. Cheers.

***Please note / general vintage glassware disclaimer: Mid Century glassware often has imperfections (i.e. tiny bubbles in the glass, or a "seam" from when the glass was being created, an extra spot of gold or enamel that made it on a clear part of the glass, etc -- purely the nature of vintage glassware).

Hallmarks: All glassware pieces are signed "Fred Press" in gold font

Measurements: The wand measures 11 1/2" in length, the pitcher measures 10 1/2" tall; the glasses measure 2 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" in diameter -- PLEASE NOTE these are smaller in size rocks glasses and not a regular or double sized rocks glass.

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.
