A lovely Gay Fad pitcher/set, the "Bacchanal" pattern, Mid Century. This magical pattern features a design of stylized Atomic symbols in a vibrant gold and black against a stark white background. We've attached the original magazine ad (see last photo). Please note, this is purely for reference and does not come with this set. While the pitcher is Gay Fad, the glasses don't appear to be Gay Fad, but we're a bit superstitious about leaving vintage pieces found together, together. The glasses are heavy white encased glass and flared at the top. The pitcher comes with a glass stirring wand.
A quick summary about this glassware maker: Gay Fad Studios was founded by Fran Taylor in Detroit, Michigan in 1939 before she relocated the business to Lancaster in 1945.
