A rare and lovely Bullet Dial A Drink cocktail shaker, 1940s. Shaped in the form of a bullet, the body is has an outer wall/sleeve; simply choose your desired cocktail by turning the outer sleeve and the recipe shows through the corresponding windows. This extremely rare piece was made in Italy, circa 1940s. The cocktail recipes include: Side Car, Tom Collins, Whisky Sour, Alexander, Bacardi, Between The Sheets, Bronx, Clover Club Dry Martini, Dubonnet, Gin Rickey, Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Orange Blossom and Palm Beach. Truly a magical and rare mixer. The top cap (which is shaped like a bullet) has a built in jigger one can use to pour/measure spirits in.

*Please NOTE: this listing is for ONE single shaker. It came from a collection of three shakers (see last photo). If you're interested in the others, please see other listings. Again, this listing is only for one single shaker (see photos 1-19). Cheers!

Hallmarks:  This piece has several hallmarks -- The inside of the cap has a number "2" and the bottom of the Shaker has "A1000" and "1950" along with a Pelican (bird).

Condition: Good vintage condition overall with some signs of age/wear. We're pretty Type A about summarizing the exact condition of our vintage pieces so here's a complete summary:

1) The silver-plating is vibrant overall but does have patina (we have not polished this piece)
2) The outer sleeve turns perfectly
3) the interior of the Shaker is in good shape overall but does show minor age/tarnish (see photo #15)
4) There's a spot of wear to/through the silver-plating where the brass is peeking through (this piece is silver-plated over brass), see photo #17
5) There are no dents or dings
6) There's general "age" that comes purely from time and what we refer to as general surface wear that can include micro scrapes, etc (from past handling, how it might have been stored, etc)

In short, this antique mixer is in good shape with mild signs of age outlined above. Please see all photos. Truly a magical and scarce piece that displays beautifully.

**Please Also Note: we typically do not test our shakers for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage shakers (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our shaker through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular shaker. Cheers!

Measurements: Just shy of 10" tall

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. This shaker will be double-boxed to ensure safe arrival. Please note: this vintage piece will be shipped with a "required signature" to ensure that it was received.

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage or damage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage/damage.
