A gorgeous set of six (6) Mid Century Libbey Atomic "Galaxy" Collins glasses. Libbey made these tall, slender Collins glasses in 1956 (we've included a photo of their original ad). The pattern is simply stunning with black atomic sta   rbursts along with thicker gold starbursts. Truly a stunning set that creams Mid Century Atomic style.

Maker/era: Libbey, 1950s

A bit about this vintage manufacturer: The Libbey Glass Company has been manufacturing glassware since the 20th Century and is still producing high quality glassware today. Certain vintage Libbey glassware pieces (but not all of them, depending on the size and type of piece) is signed with a cursive “L” within a circle or ring. The mark actually appears backwards if viewed from outside of the glass, but it appears correctly when looking down through the inside. The Libbey Kit Kat Cool Cat glasses and their Atomic patterns remain some of their most sought after patterns.

Condition: Pristine condition. These glasses appear to have never been used. One of the glasses has two micro small extra dots of black enamel (purely the nature of Mid Century glassware). In short, these glasses are in excellent condition and display beautifully.

Measurements: Each glass measures 7" tall x 2 1/4" in diameter
