A Libbey "Bamco" flask and rocks glasses set. This Western pattern features a "rope" and cattle "brand" pattern along with an embossed "Longhorn" on the flask's leather holder. The pattern tells us the shot glasses are Libbey Bamco, but we are unsure of the flask. The flask features a glass lower and chrome upper (the outer cap unscrews and serves as a shot glass). The flask doesn't bear the Bamco pattern but does have the Longhorn on the leather holder. The shot glasses all feature the Bamco pattern and the leather holders do not feature the embossed Longhorn, they are all smooth. Truly a stunning Western-inspired set. Giddy up!

A quick summary about this glassware maker: The Libbey Glass Company has been manufacturing glassware since the 20th Century and is still producing high quality glassware today. Certain vintage Libbey glassware pieces (but not all of them, depending on the size and type of piece) is signed with a cursive “L” within a circle or ring. The mark actually appears backwards if viewed from outside of the glass, but it appears correctly when looking down through the inside.
Hallmarks: None. None of the glass pieces feature the "L" (not uncommon as certain MCM makers didn't hallmark certain sizes).
Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with mild signs of age. All glass pieces are in very good shape (no chips or nicks). The cattle brand pattern on the glasses is crisp. The leather pieces are in good shape overall but there are a few areas of darker/discoloration (that happens to leather over a period of time). It's very subtle but we like to be thorough when describing our vintage pieces/sets. In short, this set is in very good vintage condition overall with very mild signs of age. Cheers.
