A Libbey "Bamco" flask and shot glasses set. This Western pattern features a "rope" and cattle "brand" pattern along with an embossed "Longhorn" on the flask's leather holder. The pattern tells us the shot glasses are Libbey Bamco, but we are unsure of the flask. The flask features a glass lower and chrome upper (the outer cap unscrews and serves as a shot glass). The flask doesn't bear the Bamco pattern but does have the Longhorn on the leather holder. The shot glasses all feature the Bamco pattern and the leather holders do not feature the embossed Longhorn, they are all smooth. Truly a stunning Western-inspired set. Giddy up!

A quick summary about this glassware maker: The Libbey Glass Company has been manufacturing glassware since the 20th Century and is still producing high quality glassware today. Certain vintage Libbey glassware pieces (but not all of them, depending on the size and type of piece) is signed with a cursive “L” within a circle or ring. The mark actually appears backwards if viewed from outside of the glass, but it appears correctly when looking down through the inside.

Hallmarks: The shot glasses all bare a backward "L" for "Libbey" (which is facing the correct way when you're looking down inside the shot glass; the flask does not bare any hallmarks. Condition: Very, very, very good condition. If this set was used in the past, it wasn't often. Beyond basic "age" that occurs over time, all pieces are in very good condition. The flask's glass and chrome sections are in great condition. There are some "darker spots" if you flip the flask over and look inside the interior where the metal top is glued to the glass (we not sure if it's rust or simply that the glue they used to affix the metal top to the glass has simply darkened over the years due to age). You can't see this unless you flip the flask over and specifically look inside the flask where the metal meets the glass. Both caps work perfectly. The shot glasses are in great condition and the pattern is vibrant. All leather holders are in great shape. One of the shot glasses leather holders has one small "water" spot (see photo #9). In short, this set is in very, very good condition. Cheers!

Measurements: The flask measures approx. 7 1/2" tall x 4" in diameter; the shot glasses measure 2 1/2" tall x 2" in diameter Cheers!
