A rare and magical Mappin & Webbs silver-plated cocktail shaker. This sleek shaker is extremely heavy in weight/solid and made up of 3 pieces: the shaker, the lid, and the cap. It's sleek, solid design is simply stunning and the lid features a "ribbed" line along the top and a concave area on the very top of the lid. Truly a magical and rare shaker.

Maker/year: Mappin & Webbs, circa 1930s

Hallmarks: "Mappin & Webbs, Princes Plate (aka Silver-Plated), London & Sheffield, W12 125" can be found on the bottom of the shaker and there's also a hallmark inside the top of the cap's interior.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. All pieces fit tightly together (in fact, the cap fits so tightly to the lid, it's tough to get on and off). Extremely minimal surface wear of any kind. Zero dents or dings. There is patina and tarnish (mostly on the lid and cap) which add to the shaker's magical factor. Please note: we do not polish our pieces as some buyers are very particular about as is condition. In short, this antique shaker is in very, very good condition with tarnish and patina.

**Please Note: we typically do not test our shakers for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage shakers (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our shaker through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular shaker. Cheers!

Measurements: Approx 8 1/2" tall

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.

We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage.
