A heavy brass-plated (over nickel) advertising cocktail shaker for Stolichnaya Vodka, Mid Century. During the Mid Century, many liquor companies would advertise their brand on popular barware including cocktail shakers and jiggers. This cocktail shaker is Art Deco in style and extremely heavy in weight. It's brass-plated and has "Stolichnaya Vodka" etched on the front (the etching is very faint and nearly impossible to see, please see photo x for reference). The Art Deco design is simply stunning with knob finial on thick etched lines on the body of the shaker. It's comprised of 3 pieces including the lid, the strainer, and the shaker.
Measurements: Approx. 7 3/4" tall
Hallmarks: Stolichnaya Vodka is etched on the front of one side in very faint lettering
Condition: Good vintage condition with very noticeable signs of age. The brass-plating is a lovely gold tone but has worn off in a few areas including the bottom of the shaker (see photo). There are darker tones "age spots" that metal gets over the course of decades that will likely not polish away. There's general age and wear. In short, this shaker is in good vintage condition overall but does show very obvious signs of age. Please see all photos for reference.
**Please Note: we typically do not test our shakers for leakage. We suspect this shaker is purely a novelty only shaker and not made for actual use, due to it's heavy weight and not having any type of of built-in seal. We offer a variety of vintage shakers (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our shaker through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular shaker. Cheers! **On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces well to ensure safe delivery. If you buy multiple pieces/sets, we will combine shipping if possible (glassware sets typically ship in their own box to ensure safe arrival) and will reimburse you for any shipping overages.
