A stunning Mid Century ice bucket by West Virginia Glass Co. No words can express how stunning this piece is. The pattern features raised gold-textured "mosiac" pieces that remind us a lot of Culver's "Alligator/Crocodile" pattern or their "Rectangles" pattern. This was from West Virginia's "Precious Metal" line. Similar to Culver, West Virginia Glass Co. used real 22k gold in their paint/patterns. Truly a breath-taking piece.
A quick summary about this glassware maker: West Virginia Glass Specialty Company (WVGS) was based in Weston, West Virginia and created some of the most stunning glassware from 1929-1987 and was especially well-known for their hand-blown glass. In the 1950s and 60s, WVGS created a number of heavily embossed and/or Hollywood Regency style patterns that, similar to Culver, contained real 22k gold in the paint.

Measurements: Approx 4 3/4" tall x 5 3/4" in diameter
Condition: Pristine condition. This ice bucket appears to have never been used. The authenticity card is mildly wrinkled and shows a bit of age. Beyond that, this ice bucket is is excellent condition and displays beautifully.
