A lovely set of Mid-Century "numbered" tumblers. These vintage glasses have a magical feel to them and feature vibrant gold numbers (in a very retro, chunky font). There are 8 glasses (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) in the set and they're still in their original box (NOS, New Old Stock). The gold is a vibrant, bright gold (if the gold looks darker it's because we took the photos at dusk along with shadows, the gold tone is a true, vibrant gold). These glasses are the perfect way for one to keep track of which cocktail is theirs ;) These glasses are solid, heavier in weight and well-crafted. Truly a lovely set.

History of Morgan & Company, Inc: Little can be found on this vintage glassware manufacturer. They were based in Boston, MA and made glassware predominently in the 1960s and 1970s. They offered a wide variety of vintage glassware and barware including low ball glasses, highball glasses, cocktail napkins, martini pitchers and ice buckets (they had an ice bucket line called "Bucket Brigade" that offered a wide variety of ice bucket styles). Some of their most popular patterns included "Numbered" rocks glasses and tall tumblers (which came in both gold as well as enamel), "19th Hole" golf glasses, a Tennis Racket pattern, a "Poison" pattern that came in bold enameled red accompanied with a skull and crossbones pattern, a cheeky/ironic pattern that featured "Tall Drink" (for a tall drink glass) -- and a wide variety of many other whimsical patterns. Their glasses were often signed "Morgan" in a thin, cursive font. Some of their other pieces were signed "Morgan Designs". For their being so little history on this vintage glassware and barware maker, they crafted an incredibly large variety of items and patterns during their time.

Condition: Pristine. They appear to be New Old Stock (NOS). Beyond normal manufacturing occurrences that are common with Mid Century glassware (i.e. an extra spot of gold, a tiny wave in the glass, etc) - these glasses are in excellent condition. Truly a magical set.
