A lovely viintage chrome bar tools set, 1970s. This set includes a double jigger (that has a white enamel interior), a citrus knife, tongs, and a bottle opener. Heavier in weight, these tools are solid and well-crafted. The handles of the knife and opener have a gorgeous "woven diamond" texture to them. This vintage bar/cocktail tools set would make the perfect gift for a cocktail enthusiast.
We have more than one set of these vintage tools. This set came from an old barware store (that's been closed down for decades now) that sold various barware items, i.e. tools, swizzle sticks, cocktail shakers in the 1970s -- if you'd like more than one set, let us know. Cheers.
Hallmarks: "Taiwan" can be found on the knife and opener in tiny letters
***PLEASE NOTE on the "Taiwan" hallmark: many vintage items that were made in the 1950s are hallmarked "Japan" or "Made in Japan" or "Occupied Japan". Many vintage items made in the late 60s and 70s were made in Taiwan, which is why many items from the 50s, 60s, and 70s are hallmarked Japan or Made in Japan or Taiwan. We explain this as a previous buyer was worried a "Taiwan" hallmark meant the item wasn't vintage/made during the time period indicated. Cheers!
Measurements: The knive measures 7 3/4" in length; the tongs and opener measure 7" in length; the jigger measures 2 3/4" tall
Condition: Excellent condition. This set is NOS (new old stock) and has never been used. Some of the pieces are still in the original plastic wrapping. This set (along with a few others) came from a store that sold barware goods in the 60s and 70s.
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. If purchasing multiple pieces from our store, we will automatically combine shipping to a single box (or as few boxes as possible) and will automatically reimburse you for all shipping overages paid.
****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage.
