A lovely Mid Century "Oil Derrick" martini pitcher, Foote glasses, and glass stirring wand set by Lotus. This pattern features a deep black "Oil Derrick" pattern with a subtle gold line on the top and a thicker gold band on the base. This pitcher comes with a heavy glass stirring wand and the pitcher itself is surprisingly heavy in weight for its size. The footed glasses are simply stunning and feature heavy footed bases and a vibrant gold accent. The glasses also have vibrant gold rims. The pictures don't do this pitcher justice. The black is extremely vibrant and the gold is incredibly bright.

Maker: Lotus -- many (including us in the past) attribute this pattern to Culver. It was actually made by a company called Lotus in the 1960s. Culver did, however, make an opaque black pattern that included gold Oil Rigs. But this pattern in the listing was made by Lotus. Similar to Culver in that they used real 22k gold in their pattern.

Measurements: The pitcher measures 6 1/4" tall; the glass wand measures 8" in length; the footed glasses measure a tad under 3" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter
Condition: Pristine. This set has been in a display cabinet for years and has never been used. The glass clarity is perfectly clear, no cloudiness. The gold is vibrant and in tact. Truly a lovely set. Cheers!
